How can I prepare for my treatment?
For optimal results, we typically advise avoiding alcohol, blood-thinning medications or supplements, excessive sun exposure, and active skincare products (such as retinol or exfoliants) for a few days before your treatment. We'll provide specific pre-treatment instructions when you schedule your appointment and review them again when you arrive.
Can I come wearing makeup?
You're welcome to arrive with makeup on. We will gently cleanse the treatment area before beginning the service. If you prefer, you may also come with a clean face.
Do you offer consultations?
We do offer personalized consultations during which we discuss your aesthetic goals, review your medical history, and determine the most suitable treatment plan. In many instances, if clinically appropriate, we can perform treatments on the same day as your consultation (except filler treatments).
What's the difference between neurotoxins and fillers?
Neurotoxins, such as Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin, or Dysport, work by relaxing the muscles that cause expression lines, helping to soften wrinkles like frown lines or crow's feet. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, add volume and structure to facial areas, helping to restore fullness, enhance contours, or smooth deeper lines. Your provider will recommend the most appropriate option based on your specific goals and facial anatomy.
Do injectable treatments hurt?
Most of our clients find injectable treatments to be quite tolerable. We use fine needles, advanced techniques, and comfort measures such as cooling or topical numbing to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.
