  Ashley is the best! She has this beautifully calm affect and attentiveness which makes the experience so smooth. My third piercing had closed twice before as my ears are highly sensitive. Ashley listened and recommended an approach that would stick this time and it has. I had trouble pulling off the piercing earrings and she changed them out for me as part of their service and helped make this next phase a breeze. It makes a difference how we show up in the world and Ashley shows up with an authentic smile. Much appreciated!

  They took us right away as a walk in after booking in the wrong location. It was a busy Saturday too! Ashley, one of the nurses, was wonderful with my 4 year old daughter getting her ears pierced for the first time. Very patient and thorough!

  The nurse was AMAZING, she took her time with my 2 year old. Made sure she felt comfortable and safe. Everything was perfect. She included my daughter in every step, from cleaning there hands, seeing the tools she was using, everything. She made a very calm setting. Would 100% recommend

  So pleased with my experience at Rowan! Ashley pierced my 5 month old and did such an amazing job! Gave great instructions for aftercare. A week later one of her earrings fell out, we went to Rowan the next day and Maria got it back in. Thank you ladies!!

  If I could give 0 stars to this location I would. I’ve been a loyal Rowan customer and have spent close to $500 in just the past few months, so this review is incredibly disappointing to write. I visited the Dedham location on 12/16 specifically to have my piercing serviced, only to be told the appropriate piercer was not on duty. Since I was already there, I asked a nurse about assistance on broken earrings related to a recent purchase. While the nurse initially pulled up my account and receipt, the situation quickly escalated in an uncomfortable way. A woman named Cathy, who was in plain clothes and not wearing a name tag, abruptly intervened. She did not greet me, introduce herself, or review my account, and spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner, stating, “We can’t just GIVE you the jewelry.” I never asked for free jewelry, I only asked for assistance on how to go about handling the broken jewelry I bought from a Rowan store previously. Her assumption felt accusatory and came across as a microaggression. The following day, when I called to follow up, I was met with more accusatory language and gossip-like behavior. The district manager Emily later called me on 12/19, promised to follow up, and never did. As of 1/20, I’ve still heard nothing. For comparison, I went to the Assembly Row location afterward and received AMAZING service. The staff there were warm, professional, welcoming, and actually listened to my concerns. Night and day difference. Dedham seriously needs better management & professionalism/sensitivity training
