  So I walked all the way from my house to go to the Sephora at Kohl’s, and got there at 9:25 so I would have at least a half hour of browsing time before I checked out. Usually it’s so dead that there aren’t any customers in line so the checkout is pretty quick. And I work full-time so I usually never got the time to buy make up for myself. The Indian lady named Seema was so rude to me the entire time I asked her if she had any of the products that I needed and without checking, she simply said no and later on I find the products that I was looking for myself, and they were there the entire time. At about, 9:35. She told me that I had five minutes left and was rushing me to the checkout and like a fool, I didn’t even look at the time, and I believed her. In my head I was so surprised that a half hour had passed by so fast but when I was at the register checking out, I heard the Kohls announcer on the microphone say that we still had 15 minutes left till closed. Shocked, I looked at the time on my phone and it was only 9:45 and I asked Seema, “don’t you guys close at 10 o’clock?” She completely ignored me. I asked her the same question again, and she ignored me yet again. She was rude to me the entire time and when I handed over an item with my receipt to return, she was questioning if I had bought it at that store or not when I literally had the receipt. And not only that, but the tone of voice was so condescending the entire time. I honestly have never seen such disrespectful customer service in my life!!! She didn’t even say thank you at the end. I literally looked at her to give her a chance to say something to me before I left, and she literally didn’t say anything or even look at me!!!! I felt like I was in trouble for even being there in the first place!!! Honestly ruined my whole night when I thought I was going to go to Sephora and pamper myself a little. Truly I get that workers may be rushing at the end of the night because I have been a waitress and a cashier and done it all but I have NEVER rushed customers out like that and told them to hurry up and basically lie to them and not even say thank you and not be polite just because you’re rushing, so that honestly is no excuse for being rude. And there is NO EXCUSE for being a bad person. Especially when I kept a smile on my face the entire time and didnt play into her little power game hoping she would stop being so damn MEAN. I have never had this experience with any of the other workers over there before because I have been coming there for at least two years. The manager of Kohl’s even rang me up last time I was there a couple weeks ago and she was so Nice to me, and she complimented my eyelashes and was honestly the best. So honestly, I am so shocked by this horrible experience and I will make sure I never come there again ESPECIALLY when Seema is working.
