He was thoughtful enough to talk with me while waiting past my scheduled time and also gave me a sample of Dior perfume for the wait. So sweet with so much personality ! I had a makeup appointment for 1:30pm and I got there for 1:20pm. 1:30 came around and I was told by their store manager my artist “Jeffiana” was running 15 mins late. I’m pretty sure they knew he was running late when I got there because when I asked if I can get strip lashes as well, I was told” it really depends on the artist because we have a-lot of appointments today and we don’t have any time to squeeze that in”. When she said that I already knew I was going to leave miserable. (Keep in mind I had to be at a wedding for 6pm which was 30 mins away from my house, so time is everything). So 1:50 comes around and I get up and said I can’t wait anymore , I have a 30 min commute going south to travel back to my house to get ready and time was going against me. So I told the manager who was very apologetic that I can’t stay for him to say the makeup artist just got here. Well of course I’m not going to stay for him to possibly rush on my 60 min booking to play catch up with all other appts he has after me. So I said no just cancel the appt at this point there’s no reason of staying. Complete waste of time, 30 mins going to this location but 45 mins going back home as there was traffic. I was given a bag of samples before I left as an apology. I know people run late but to be told at the time of your appt they are running behind is unprofessional. The least they could have done was told me when I got there that the artist was running late so I could have went along my way sooner. People don’t book appointments because they are going home to read a book; they most likely they have a scheduled event and need their makeup done. I wish things were handled differently.
