I got a beard shaping from Taric, nice guy and he did a good job, but there was a bit of a miscommunication between us and while it looks good and I liked it initially it wasn't what I was hoping for in the end. It also cost me $45. That's a lot for a beard trim, even in Boston. They definitely have skill which is why they get 3 stars from me, but the price isn't worth it in my opinion considering I can get similar quality for half the price elsewhere. The atmosphere of the shop was very nice but that doesn't make it worth more money in my eyes. Edit: my first draft made it sound like I was double charged, and they reached out immediately to make sure that wasn't the case, ready to rectify it if it was. I'm grateful for the good customer service, and I updated this to make it more clear that I was charged the agreed upon amount.
