Very disappointed with the customer service at this location. The front desk staff don’t care about customers or the health of their piercings. I won’t ever come back to Studs on Newbury.

We have visited the Back Bay studio twice specifically for Jackie—she is an outstanding piercer and a true professional. However, our experience with the front-of-house staff today was so poor that we will not be returning.
Despite receiving an email asking us to arrive 15 minutes early, we were turned away at the door in 20-degree weather and told to wait at a café because they "weren't open." When we were finally let in, the floor manager was curt and condescending to us and other customers. Most concerning were the manager’s targeted comments regarding "white girls," which felt unprofessional and discriminatory. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome; this location needs a serious overhaul in management and basic customer service.
Also reached out to STUDS and got zero response to this issue.

Great experience. I haven't worn an earring in so long and wanted to get the hole reopened. Rhi was my piercer but everyone was so nice and willing to explain everything.

Great experience. Very customer focused, explained everything and Jess was very nice and my piercing didn’t hurt at all. Would highly recommend

I had a lovely time! I got a rook piercing. I went with my friend who had an appointment to get 2 piercings and was persuaded to get one myself after seeing the level of professionalism that they provided. Jess did my piercing and they were absolutely lovely. They talked me through all the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything! The lovely employees at check out and check in were equally as friendly. I would 100% recommend going here.
