- DDDoraemonOct 16, 20251.0The haircut I got at Great Clips Bedford was the worst of all haircuts I’ve ever had. You would think that giving basic layers is Haircutting 101 for the job but apparently not for my assigned haircutter. I showed her a picture of the cut that I would like to get. She said that’s doable, then proceeded to cut my hair in really questionable ways. She picked up random strands of my hair, twirled them with her both hands and cut off the hair-ends, each cut has no relation to the overall shape. She did not part hair into sections like the way they do typically when giving layers. When I noticed that, during the cutting, my ends were sticking outward strand by strand and starting to look funny, I told her that that’s not what I asked for. She said something like my hair is different, maybe I want a different cut? I said I at least didn’t want my hair ends to all stick out. She then used the blow dryer to try to style it resulted in almost a “mushroom” hair shape for me. In the end she could not achieve proper layers. I wonder if this haircutter actually has a legit certification for the job. Maybe this Great Clips shop has it but I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t. There was another haircutter working there at the time she seemed to be professional, giving quick cuts to male customers. All of them seemed happy with their cuts. Not coming back here for me.
