Wow. A horrible experience, the worst haircut of my life, and unsatisfactory customer service. I came in for a simple haircut, which is $35 for the hair wash and hair cut. I called 3 days ahead of time to get my haircut in the back room with a female hairdresser. While I was I was getting a haircut, the owner, Sharon, yelled at my mother that they would not let this happen again, that using the back room is unacceptable. I called in advance to ensure that my privacy would be maintained, and I never would’ve came here if they said no in advance. Certainly not a salon that cares for its customers.
In addition, I arrived at the salon at 1:39 instead of my scheduled appointment time of 1:30 due to icy roads, snow, and maintenance on the roads. The hairdresser, Tanya, finished half of my haircut and told me to leave because she had another client. A job half done and a bad job at that— it was the first time I left a salon near crying in my life. That should tell you enough about Salon 62’s services. The staff were passive aggressive, almost charged me just to come back and get my haircut finished, and even 3 hours later at that!! I finally got the haircut fixed in the evening, but at what cost? In the end the haircut was not at all what I wanted, but it was good enough to get out of there. Highly do not recommend coming to this salon. No customer satisfaction, a subpar haircut, and a horrible experience overall. I am very disappointed in an experience that I was excited for, and I will not be coming back here if I can help it.
