  I went shopping after work briefly to purchase two items. As usual, when I’m wearing work clothes and not completely dolled up, I am treated very differently at Sephora. While I was using a tester sample, an employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. I politely said no thank you, then the employee went off to the side, and I could hear her whispering into her headset—she was reporting to someone and listing everything I had in my basket. They thought I was stealing. This has happened to me multiple times and many of my friends share the same experience. After I purchased my items, all the the employees rounded up to the main walkway to watch me as I left the store. Sephora employees, you need to be a little more slick when you’re profiling people based off of their ethnicity and clothes. We can hear you. And some of us are smart enough to pick up on the little things you do. I have been a Rouge member in the past, I’m an engineer with a stable income, and I most definitely can afford a little bit of makeup. The black/brown employees have never treated me or my friends like this by the way. Stop profiling and train your employees to actually perform productive and professional theft management. You’re losing loyal customers and you look like idiots.

  I had such an amazing experience at Sephora thanks to Eve! She spent a solid 20 to 30 minutes helping me find the perfect foundation match and select products that were right for my skin type. Eve was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure I felt confident in my choices. What really impressed me was her deep knowledge of the ingredients in the products—she explained what would work well together and what would suit my skin best. Her thoughtful guidance made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I walked out of the store completely satisfied and excited about my purchases. Eve was truly the sweetest, and I can’t thank her enough!

  E was absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. I wasn't sure what to get but she helped me figure out and pick out exactly what I needed. She was a delight.
