It was kind of cool. I had a great haircut, and it was recognized as such. I really appreciate the stylist who did it.

I don’t usually have time to go do things for myself since i have a toddler so i decided to go this location down the road rather than my usual location in Cold Spring. I have been going to great clips for forever just to get a trim and some layers since it’s cheap and not looking for anything crazy. Wish I read the reviews before last minute deciding to get my haircut at this location. I have longer and thicker hair, I asked for a trim with a V-shaped cut and some face framing layers starting at my chin, after telling the lady (don’t think she even told me her name) she responded with an ok and was silent for the rest of the cut besides some eye rolls from dealing with my hair and talking bad about her coworkers to another customer. She spent majority of the time hacking away at the front of my hair (totally uneven and BOTCHED) not sure if it’s even fixable. blunt layers, in which she just used to brush without any sense of sectioning out my hair (at one point i saw her face expression as if she was like screw it im done and cut a HUGE chunk of my hair off. I couldn’t help but sit there in AWE trying not to have my eyes popping out of my face from just what she is doing to my hair. Mind you i’m not one to speak up and critique someone doing their job (was only hoping it would get better) or one to leave reviews, but THATS JUST HOW AWFUL THIS IS. after i showed people they actually laughed at how awful it is. took me years to reach this length and now i have to start all over with this embarrassing cut and HIDE my hair everyone, i CANNOT be seen in public with this. would’ve been better to spare me the embarrassment and deny my service or move me to someone who had more experience instead of complaining about your neck pain and just guessing how to cut someone’s hair the whole time. spare your ego and accept it for what it is. trying not to be mean or come for the lady but MAN it’s hard. Long and drawn out? ABSOLUTELY. Somehow still not enough has been said because that’s how awful of a job was done.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
