I felt like I went in brassy and wanted to address that, as well as blend my grays with the highlights. I left SLIGHTLY less brassy overall & still have prominent grey spots around my face. I did bring the brassiness up to her immediately and she offered to tone it again - I declined and will use purple shampoo and see what happens. The stylist didn’t break down costs before starting or prior to checking out (I knew there was a range but it would’ve been nice to know what to expect). She did attempt to upsell me (a conditioning treatment). I’ve also never had someone brush my hair the way she did… it was clearly ripping & she just kept going at it. I asked if I could brush it instead and then held my long hair at the top and brushed the bottom out. It was hard to sit through as us blondes know about breakage. I don’t know if she was having an off day or not but overall the experience was NOT worth $165.
