Amy is a great hair stylist and a conversationist. The time goes by so quickly and I enjoy coming to see her every 6 weeks.

Stylist and haircut were fine but not being advised of additional charges for adding a few curls was wrong. Manager was not friendly at all.

While the salon was good quality and professional, I left with the worst haircut of my life. I came in asking my stylist for a trim to get rid of my dead ends, light face framing pieces, and LIGHT layers throughout my hair. I told her that I had been growing out my hair for years since the last time I cut it, and I wanted to keep as much length as possible. I was just visiting for the holidays and did not want anything drastic, as I have a trusted stylist at home who was booked out before I left for the holidays. While she was cutting my hair, I noticed that she took about 2 inches off everywhere, which is not a trim in my book. That alone would not have even made me upset, but when she blow dried my hair, she went back in with scissors to the back of my head and claimed that she had "trouble blending that spot". I was getting a little concerned, but I couldn't see what she was doing. To her credit, she said that I could come back for free and have her fix anything if I didn't like it. Well, it's safe to say I really didn't like it because the "blending" she did was just cutting one section of my hair extremely shorter than the rest (the first photo). I had my brother take a picture of it and I went straight back into the salon to have her fix it, which in hindsight was an even bigger mistake. I told her that the one section was way shorter than the rest and that it needed blending, and she started cutting the rest of the back of my head to that length. WITHOUT BLENDING IT AT ALL. When she handed me the mirror again, I just said thank you and left because I could not trust her to keep trying to "fix it". The second photo is how I left the salon the second time. There is an entire layer of my hair that is abruptly shorter than the rest. When I booked this stylist, I did so knowing she was pretty fresh out of hair school. I did not think that asking for a trim, face framing, and light layering in the back would be a tough ask, and I showed her a photo that looks NOTHING like my hair now. The last photo attached is my hair now that I have washed it and let it air dry, and it still looks horrible. I ended up booking another stylist back home to fix this mess, but I am really upset and disappointed that I have to go through this holiday season and my birthday looking like this. AND I have to restart my hair growth journey because my stylist at home already informed me that we are going to have to cut my hair to the shortest of the layers and blend from there. My only recommendation for the salon is for the senior stylists to keep a watchful eye over the newer staff. I understand she wasn't an apprentice, but stuff like this happens when newer stylists are not being monitored. I am not going to name drop my stylist, but please do better. I now have to spend another $100 to fix what you screwed up.

The price quoted online was much lower than the price charged. I don’t know if that’s because of the services that they needed to do.. but it was much more expensive than I expected
