Charlie was one of the first artists nationwide to begin wearing gloves in the early 1980’s, he pioneered the use of disposable tubes in the early 1990’s (many studios still reuse steel tubes to this day), and Charlie and his son Buddy helped write the regulations governing tattooing and piercing for the state of Kentucky.
