Even still, I understood that this was the most brief and inexpensive treatment offered on the menu; yet, what I received was nothing close to a "relaxed, rejuvenated, and truly cared for" experience. The 10-minute poke per foot was unremarkable. I laughed out loud after Johnathan left the room truly shocked that the appointment was over---far from feeling like anything noteworthy (or review worthy) had occurred. The cherry on top of my experience was inserting my "validated" parking slip upon exiting the garage and realizing I still owed money. SERIOUSLY? So, out came the card again. I should've depleted the establishment of champagne. In short: This little piggy went to market, This little piggy stayed home, This little piggy had roast beef, This little piggy had none, THIS little piggy cried "Wee! Wee! Wee!" all the way home." The above was sent to Woodhouse Spa Louisville within hours of my sub par visit. It's been well over a week since--ample time to respond, even still they have decided to let this evaporate into the ether. Please do yourself a favor and head over to the Omni's Mokara Spa up the street...pricey but an elegant, top-rate experience that will leave you feeling like royalty...parking included.

I haven’t been to one in over a decade, so I was determined to find a new experience to celebrate the occasion, and I landed on Woodhouse Spa (Downtown Louisville). It took a while to peruse all of the customer reviews, but I was immediately captivated by all of the praise this business has garnered over time. Booking an appointment was simple enough with Hannah and she did great to confirm my appointment and accommodate any changes I had beforehand. I booked a “Calming Retreat” massage session ($330), one of the pricier offers that included SEVEN specialized treatments combined for a head-to-toe relaxation, beginning with a full-body exfoliation and stone massage, a specialized neck and shoulder massage, acupressure and scalp, and a restorative foot scrub and massage to complete the entire holistic experience. It was A LOT of great things that brought both pleasure and a little pain (was already sore from work hours ago), but in a good way. This all spanned across 110 minutes, but it was worth every single penny! My specialist Monni took “incredible” care of me from start to finish, basing her techniques and careful consideration of what I’d written on my form and discussed beforehand. Amazing! She went over my new client forms, checked to ensure there were no medical concerns prior to the massage therapy, and answered all of my questions throughout the whole morning. Incredibly professional, polite, patience, kind, and attentive to little details, she knew exactly where to focus on my sore areas, where her skilled fingers were liken to a flexible blade, carving out along pressure points and knotted muscle groups; she’s incredible. Woodhouse left me in impeccable care and service for my first time visiting such an elegant establishment. I was so grateful and felt blessed. As for the business itself, just by my photos, they mean serious business when it comes to absolute care, a serene atmosphere, comfortability, and hospitality. They have everything you need to get settled in before your appointment, offering some tasty amenities of snacks, teas of your choice, and even a mimosa or simple champagne to wind down. There’s a shower, a sauna, a private dressing room with lockers, and robes and slippers to make you feel nestled as if right at home. Lastly, a gift shop at the front desk, and just for coming by as a newcomer, I was given some parting gifts too! Thank you! Again, maybe it’s just me and I haven’t been treated this well at any other spa before of this scale, but the standards are extremely high here, and they will guarantee you feel your absolute best and giving their all—every time. He has a lot of experience and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. He also added on hot stone massage as a gift. I cannot recommend him enough! The spa was very clean and everyone I met was so kind and helpful. I will definitely be going back and recommending to everyone.

The spa is beautiful, clean, and serene. I had the Swedish Massage with Himalayan Salt Stones and I woke up feeling like a new woman. The sauna post massage was a nice touch as well. Landon is the best of the best and I look forward to my monthly massage with him.

To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Policy for Minors
So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa.
Ages 13-17
• The Parent/Legal Guardian must be present in the treatment room to observe for the entire duration of the service.
• The Parent/Legal Guardian may not receive a service at the same time in order to oversee the minor's service.
• The Parent/Legal Guardian must complete and sign the minor's Intake Form.
• For Massage Treatments, the minor must be scheduled with a service provider of the same sex.
Woodhouse Spa reserves the right to limit and/or prohibit services for underage guests. We do not offer services for minors aged 12 and under. For a list of services offered to minors, please contact our Spa Concierge at (502) 699-5200.
Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. The Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Gift Card Redemption & ID Policy
For the protection of our guests and to prevent unauthorized gift card use, all guests must present a valid photo ID when redeeming a Woodhouse Spa gift card at our location. If a guest is unable or unwilling to present valid identification, the gift card cannot be accepted or redeemed.
Acceptable forms of ID:
• State-issued driver’s license or ID card
• Passport
• Other government-issued photo identification
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and Woodhouse Spa Gift Cards. Woodhouse Spa® gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and Woodhouse Spa® is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply.
Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit.
Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In keeping with The Woodhouse Vision, purity and quality are essential elements in our skin and body care products. In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
