- SCSandy ComptonFeb 23, 20223.0Arrived @ 10:55 for an 11 am appt w a 95 year old disabled client. Turned away at the open door in the pouring rain bc they were not open yet. Later spoke with the manager to express my frustration (nicely), who basically said she can’t change that they make their appts for the same time the doors open due to Covid. Repeated several times “I’m sorry ma’am” which felt obligatory but I did not walk away thinking she understood. Rules are rules. I get that. But at 5 minutes til your 95 year old client is to be sitting in a chair for service, your door is open and it’s pouring rain out I expected just some kindness. We had no idea we couldn’t come in or obviously we’d have waited. The manicure was done well but I was really disappointed in how we were handled. Covid just isn’t an excuse for a lack of compassion.
