I do wanna do a shout out to Stephanie. She is quirky, lovable, and does well cutting my hair. Everyone here is great. Please tip well.

I clearly asked for my usual cut: a fade on the sides and back, with very little taken off the top using scissors. I’m currently in regrowth therapy and have very thin hair. It took nearly a year to grow the length and shape I had when I came in. Despite this, the stylist removed essentially all of the length on top without confirming first. I only realized what was happening when I saw my curls falling onto the cape. The stylist also started off by looking at the clip notes and commented, “not much off the top …. there’s not much there anyway of course,” which was unnecessary and hurtful. Although the haircut was comped by her, the impact goes beyond the cost. My confidence was affected, and I now have to wait to regain hair that took a year to grow. This experience makes me seriously reconsider continuing with Great Clips.

It often feels like they’re reluctant to work with my hair type, which is disappointing. The two Black female stylists, however, have consistently been kind, attentive, and professional. I was fortunate to be serviced by Sonia today, and she did a phenomenal job! She truly listened to my needs, made me feel seen, and gave me a beautiful haircut. Moving forward, I’ll be booking only with those two stylists, as I prefer to be serviced by people who make me feel comfortable and valued. If this salon wants to attract and retain a diverse clientele, it’s important that all stylists are trained and willing to work with a variety of hair types. Thank you again, Ms. Sonia, you were amazing!

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
