- BLBrian Leonard3 days ago4.0Would give 5 stars but have to take a star off because the stylist who originally cut my hair, "Ms. Pam" apparently did not hear my haircut request, had vision impairment, and did not know how to do fades. All information that she decided to inform me *after* she finished the haircut. She was a nice enough lady, but I was disappointed in the result. Thankfully, a man named Chris came to the rescue and salvaged what was left of my hair. They comped my haircut but I still ended up paying Chris for his time. Long story short, Ms. Pam might be the right fit for some people, but if you're looking for a fade I'd recommend Chris.

- EPEmma PenningtonJan 28, 20241.0If I could give 0 stars I would. My stylist was Alex. I came in asking for a short trim to cut off my dead ends. I had told Alex how I hadn’t gotten a hair cut in years because of a time someone cut off all my hair without me wanting many years ago. She proceeded to do the exact same thing. She cut off about an inch (took her very long to do so which made me nervous) then she said that we were done. When I pulled my hair in front the left side of my hair was an inch longer than the right side!!!!!! So then I told her that and she proceeded to cut off 2 more inches, while it was still uneven!!!!! She was the worst!!! She would not be able to cut hair anymore. I left with one side longer than the other and about three inches of hair cut off when I only wanted 1. She also told me that she went to hair school which was very hard to believe. I am so unhappy with my hair! I’m having to go to an actual salon to get it fixed. Never going here again and I hope no one does. I spent 26 dollars on this stupid haircut. I want my money back!!!

- EJEdith JohnsonMay 28, 20211.0My haircut by Emma was well done. However, I witnessed a Hispanic lady being turned away by Jennifer, telling her there would be a 30 minute wait. I was the only other customer in salon. Within 5 minutes, a blonde haired, white lady comes in and Jennifer brings her back immediately. This did not sit well with me and will keep me from going back there, even though I liked Emma very much.

Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
