After loosing 50 lbs I wanted to get a decent haircut so I asked Brian if he could give me something flattering and left it at that. He did ask me how I normally styled my hair and if I’d be open to using product which I was cool with. I was a little worried when it felt like he was thinning my hair which has always been fine with thinning scissors, but he joked not to worry and he wasn’t scalping me. Then halfway through the haircut he seemed to suddenly notice how fine my hair was and remarked on it. I joked that maybe I used to have more of it and he said “I’m sure you did. *ouch*. In the end I felt like I walked away with a basic cut which was fine, but not worth what I paid. After showering and drying it became obvious that my hair looked ragged around the bangs, ears, I had a cow lick snd manufactured split ends. It’s been a couple weeks and I’m just trying to ignore my reflection and not let a barber’s comments about my hair play on a loop on my head

I need the internet to understand how serious this is: Courtney is the first person to consistently cut my hair since I was 12 years old… back when haircuts were $8 and came with a sucker. She absolutely nails it every time. No “let’s see how it looks in a week” regret. Just clean, sharp, confidence-boosting greatness. If loyalty were a hairstyle, Courtney earned it. And shoutout to Brian, who cut my son’s hair. The moment my kid walked out, he said, “I got a fresh cut.” That’s it. That’s the review. If a kid voluntarily acknowledges a haircut—without being asked—you know it’s legit. 10/10 experience. Skilled, consistent, and clearly boosting self-esteem one head at a time. Highly recommend before they get too famous to book. 💈😎

I had an excellent experience with Hardie. I came in asking for something that’s harder to articulate. I wanted a haircut that felt intentional, masculine, and timeless, and I specifically asked to give the stylist creative control rather than micromanaging the details. Hardie immediately understood that request and approached the cut with real vision and confidence. She didn’t just execute a standard style, she paid attention to my face shape, hair texture, and how the cut would actually wear over time. The result was sharp, balanced, and thoughtfully styled, not trendy or generic. What I appreciated most was her professionalism and artistry. It’s rare to find someone who’s both technically skilled and comfortable making creative decisions. I left with a haircut that looks great immediately and will age well as it grows out. If you’re someone who values trust, craftsmanship, and a stylist who can genuinely see what will work for you, I highly recommend Hardie.

This place is for the men who want to experience a relaxing stay cation with amazing bartenders, concierges, and stylists. Bobby Sue cut my hair, and I was able to relax and give her full control over what cut would be best for me. I can not thank her enough. Darrell who i found is a beard specialist, took the hair on my face and made a masterpiece. Now I have a place for all my grooming needs.

Darrell was amazing! I called 45 minutes before they were closing on a Sunday to see if I could get my toddler in (20 minutes to closing by the time we drove there). Darrell had no issue with the time we would be there and was willing to finish up late for us. He was so kind and patient with my son, making sure he was comfortable and didn’t get scared of the clippers. My son is young enough that his hairline isn’t fully grown in yet. Darrell talked to me about options for how to clean it up with the cut. He informed me more about how sensitive my son’s soft spots on his head would still be, considering his age, and let me know, while he was willing to use the clippers if I wanted, the safest option for my son would be to not have clippers used around his head until he turned 4 (when his skull would then cover the soft spots) and to consider either just not cutting it until then, or going with styles that only required scissors to achieve. The other employees in there were also very kind and open. They talked to my daughter (also a toddler) while she waited, and complimented both kids on how great they’d been during our visit. I would recommend Hammer & Nails to anyone and we will definitely be back.
