After I expressed that this was not what I asked for she said sorry I don’t have the right clippers for a fade so let’s just get you out of my chair. They insisted I paid for an unfinished haircut that I’m gonna have to pay another place to fix. Worst haircut I’ve ever had!

It looked absolutely terrible. I feel like this place is not kid friendly unless your kid can sit perfectly still for the entire haircut.

- JCJulie CottiniFeb 20, 20261.0THEY DON'T KNOW CURLY HAIR! I called the day before to see if they had someone that knew curly hair. She said they all did. I explained to the lady what products I use and my process. First, she cut it dry and partially wetted down. When I asked about the shampoo if she's putting fresh product on my hair and she said she was gonna cut it then shampoo. Then she put a totally different product on it than I use. I was trusting that she knew what she was doing. She used 1 teaspoon of mousse on parts of my hair and that was it!! No curl cream or gel like I told her was my normal. Then she didn't prep the curls at all and just went straight in putting partially combed out, wet hair in the diffuser. I wasn't tilted back or asked to tilt my head even. Just flat root and frizzy ends. Obviously, my curls were not forming at all and it was getting frizzy so I asked her to stop and I paid and left. Awful. I went to my car and cried. Still crying. CURLY GIRLS.... DO NOT GO TO GREAT CLIPS IN LAWRENCE!! THE PHOTO BELOW IS THE RESPONSE FROM THE SALON AFTER THEY SENT A PARTIAL REFUND.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
