- ACAlexander CastelliSep 14, 20251.0Second time I've had Ruby cut my hair, first time she left the right side of my hair about an inch to 2 inches longer than the rest of my head, I asked her not to do that this time since I work in a high-school and need to look professional and she ended up clipping the top sides of my head too short and left it looking egg shaped, and cut my bangs almost to the hairline. She also took a chunk out of my neck line and refused to show me the back of my neck when I asked. Almost as if she knew that's what I was looking for. Extremely unsatisfied.
- NNNSep 13, 20251.0I recently got my hair cut and colored somewhere else and noticed the back was a little too long. All I wanted was the back to be taken up just to the occipital bone. I told him that I liked the front length and that I wanted to be able to use a 2" round brush on the back. As he was cutting my hair, I noticed long pieced of hair falling to the floor. I questioned my stylist and he told me that he was just blending my hair and it just looks like a lot coming off. When I was finished the front was quite a bit shorter and when he turned my chair around and gave me a mirror, I responded, "Oh my gosh it's short!!" My stylist asked me if I liked it and I told him that, "It's much shorter than I expected. Wow!! It will grow out though. Good thing my hair grows fast.". When I got home I washed and restyled my hair and really noticed how short it was. The back was so short that I couldn't get any size round brush around it. It just stuck out because the shape of that part of my head. It was less than an inch long. I didn't think my directions were that difficult but I definitely didn't get what I wanted. My stylist was very nice but needs a little more attention to client directions.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
