  I rarely ever leave reviews, let alone poor reviews, but I feel like I need to write this for the sole purpose of getting this poor girl some proper training. I went to Great Clips on Sunday (this was my third time) for a basic trim and to get my hair thinned. I have pretty thick hair, and it starts to hurt my head if it’s not thinned. The young 20 year old that sits close to the front desk did my hair and was so kind and sweet. She did a great job trimming my hair and really took her time, but I was in tears when I left and discovered just how much she had “thinned” my hair. I have short pieces sticking up EVERYWHERE…top of my hair, the sides, the bottom… I wondered why it took her 20 minutes to thin when it usually takes 5 minutes. She took off way too much and left tiny bald spots all around my scalp. I genuinely don't want to hurt her employment in any way, but she needs trained on how to properly thin hair. This is going to take months and months to grow back and it does not look or feel good at all.

  I AS ABLE TO CHECK IN ON LINE, WALKIN AND GET IMMEDIATE SERVICE.. THE ASSOCIATE KNEW THE TYPE OF CUT I WANTED AND TOOK CARE OF ME IMMEDIATELT TO MY SATISFACTION.

  My daughter has been growing out her hair for 2 years to donate it. I saw online that Great Clips partners with Wigs for Kids to do donation cuts and they do them for free. I called this location to verify and was told that they do donation cuts. Our stylist did not seem to know what she was doing for a donation cut. She was going to gather all the hair into one ponytail until I told her the website stated the hair should be in 4 sections - then she did two. She didn't braid or section each pony before the cut - I did that after the fact. After the initial cut, she gave my daughter a very uneven cut and nicked her neck with the clippers a couple of times. At this point, we're going to have to wait for it to grow out a little and then go someplace else to even it back out. When we were checking out, we were still charged full price, even though the Great Clips website says donation cuts are free. I wish they would have just told me that they did not know how to do a donation cut. I won't be coming back.

  worse haircut I have ever had! didnt pay any attention till i got home! this is the 2nd bad haircut i have gotten here so i wont be back! the whole neighborhood was laughing at the hair cut I got there! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL FOLLOW UP: so I went back and they made it right! and gave me a coupon for next hair cut free! But they need to screen their employees a little more!
