I have dark brown hair and she made sure it looked great and toned it the perfect icy blonde. Many other stylists won't touch hair this light (or even try to go from my natural color to platinum). She is very skilled with modern looks! I also got a cute cut while I was there!
- KTKylee TackettMar 18, 20211.0I went here (March 5) to get a haircut and an all over color by Maria. I have previously box dyed my hair and mentioned this at the beginning of my appointment. No test strand was done before the color so when it was finished, some of the color didn't take right and my ends were green. To fix this, we did a toning treatment that seemed to work, however when I got home I noticed that the ends were almost black while my all over color was brown. In terms of the cut, it started out okay. She asked if I wanted long layers and I agreed but said don't make them too short. However, the layers were not standard layers. My front pieces were super long, and then there were random pieces that were short- and I mean short. If you looked at my side profile, one piece would be long, then short, then long again. I almost went back to have them fix it, however I was afraid that it would just get worse. Lastly, I know that box dying my hair has damaged it, however I feel that bringing it up once is more than enough. She constantly kept bringing up how my hair will look much better and kept scolding me about how bad my hair looked- which honestly made me want to not come back before I even had my services done! I don't think I will ever return here for salon services. Update on March 22: Two days ago, my hair started turning green all over. Now my hair is all green, people have brought it up (without me even mentioning it). Now I definitely will never be returning, as it was a waste of $70. Thanks! :/
