- LFLinda fusonApr 4, 20261.0If I could give -15 stars I would because this is ridiculous. My father brought my son to this great clips last week and the man who cut his hair didnt clear the notes with my dad so this man ended up giving my 8 year old a 1 guard high and tight with a hard part. Once my dad noticed what he did tell the guy that it wasnt his haircut, checked the notes FINALLY and it was MY DADS HAIRCUT NOTES. I also work at great clips in greenwood so I completely understand the protocol for cutting a child's hair, so to just blatantly not consult a parent or guardian is absolutely ridiculous. I have called the store AT LEAST 8x in the last 4 days, no answer. I have messaged a friend that works there to relay this message to Tonya the store manager but have yet to get in any contact with me to rectify the situation. No accountability thus far so I see no other option to warn everyone else with children getting a cut to MAKE SURE they clear notes with you

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
