I usually take my 6yr old boy with me so that we both get our turn in the chair. We do have a favorite, Michaela who always makes both of us feel right at home. Most of the time, you will find a nothing short of a good vibe at Great Clips, whether you are still waiting for a seat or whether you're in a chair, getting your ears lowered. Another plus is that they do actually have notes in their system on how exactly you got it cut the last time('s) in there. You can feel confident that one of the girls there will take care of you so rest easy and grab a haircut. 8/16/2025 I have to make a quick edit on this. Since reading some of the other reviews, especially about the stylist who was rude to the wife, I too have to be honest and say the same happened to me the last haircut when me and my boy went. I too always try to show my respect and tip. I couldn't ever do the job these guys do so yeah, absolutely deserved. What my issue was, is how rude my stylist was. I had never had this one and hope to never have again. Immediately after trying to make small talk about us both working weekends all the time, I got the coldest stare and silence for about 30 seconds like she truly hated me and my haircut. I had asked what her name was and she barely gave me that. I cant remember the exact words nor is there a need to repeat but all I can say is that it was a very very awkward haircut. She was rough with the clippers around my ears and my wife could see a scratch from how hard she pressed on the back of my neck. I could tell she definitely did not want to be giving me a haircut. We've been going there a long time with no issues ever but I hope this person maybe will find a new career that she likes better apparently.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
