- GGGooseMar 13, 20261.0I’ve been going to this location ever since they opened last year. However, after last weekend’s cut, I’m officially done. I have a very standard haircut that never changes, and the notes in their system are tailor-made at this point. They’ve been refined after every cut to make sure it’s understandable to the revolving door of stylists who happen to be working the day I come in. Apparently not this time, though. A lady I’ve never met before had me follow her to the chair. I saw Flint (who is awesome, by the way— never have received a bad cut from them) in the back and I should have just said I’ll wait for them to cut my hair, but I was in a hurry. So I went with the woman and sat down. Explained my cut very clearly. Told her what I wanted to be kept longer (on top and my bangs), and a 2 guard for the sides and back. Tremendously simple. What I walked out with was a butcher job. I actually could see it on her face when she was finished that she realized she cut way too much off. I don’t have ANY bangs anymore, the sides and back are too long in comparison to the ridiculously short length on top. The haircut is horrendous. I’m a guy so it’s not the end of the world, I can always buzz it off entirely if I want. But I won’t be coming back to this location. I know it’s just a stylist issue and not the whole store, but she didn’t listen to a word I said and just chopped everything off to get me out of there. I even left her a $5 tip because I’m such a pushover. I’ll cut my own hair at home from now on.
