  My recent visit highlighted a clear professional contrast. Michelle, a stylist with exceptional technical mastery and a strong standard of care, set a benchmark the industry should follow. As a travel nurse with a demanding schedule, I arrived a little sleep-deprived and apprehensive after inconsistent results at this location in the past. Although my preferences were recorded in the “Clip Notes” system, accuracy had varied. Michelle listened carefully to my instructions and reviewed my reference photos, then delivered a precise high-and-tight fade, the first accurate cut I have received in six months. She completed the service efficiently in about 20 minutes, checking her work three times to ensure it met my expectations. This attention to detail reflects a professional commitment to quality at the source, which prevents customer dissatisfaction. However, the overall operational environment is concerning. The salon has eight styling chairs, but typically only two stylists are working at a time. On previous visits, the professional atmosphere was diminished by staff who seemed more focused on socializing than on their responsibilities. Additionally, some personnel, possibly apprentices or associates, often occupy chairs without contributing to the workflow or facility upkeep. In any licensed industry, visible idle capacity creates a perception of inefficiency. Staff members resting in service chairs detract from the professional image the brand should uphold. Michelle is the main reason this location receives a four-star rating. For a business in a high-traffic plaza, delivering consistent quality is essential for profitability. Licensing bodies for cosmetology require high standards of professionalism, and the staff would benefit from adopting Michelle’s focus, technical skill, and proactive communication. If you plan to visit, I recommend calling ahead to request a stylist of her caliber to ensure a positive experience.

  This place has been up and down like a lot of businesses during COVID. I've gotten some bad haircuts and some good ones. Lately, I've been getting good ones! Be sure to check in online before arriving, the place is getting more busy! Checking in, means virtually no waiting. You just walk in and sit down in a chair for a quick in and out. What could be better than that?!
