  Called to schedule a same day appointment for a quick trim. I have collar bone length hair and an undercut that I’m growing out so only half of my head needs a haircut. I showed up with it freshly washed and blow dried and politely declined a wash when I arrived. I got my hair cut dry and it looks great (thanks Paul!) However, when I got to the counter the receptionist that scheduled me earlier in the day informs me that my total for the haircut was $105. I said for a dry cut on half my head? She said yes. I paid her and said she should tell new people about the price level for the stylist they book. She said “well most people ask” which felt rude. She said “other stylists charge like 45 for a cut” I’m not discrediting the amazing stylist or saying he’s not worth the price, but I do feel like I was robbed. Please train your receptionist to ask additional questions for new clients to make sure everyone has the same expectations.

  I visited Salon 6 for the first time today. Andrew was my stylist. It’s a beautiful spot. I’m really happy with my haircut. The overall experience was wonderful!! I highly recommend Salon 6, ask for Andrew!

  I found myself needing to find a new salon after the one I used closed. I was a little unhappy with the last haircut from my used to be regular stylist and I let it go extra long but when I went to book an appointment, found them closed so that sealed the deal. I am bit of a cheapskate by nature so I was shocked by the prices of salons when I started looking. I found Salon 6 to be in line with others and I like that there was some variance in pricing. I have pretty thick, quick growing forgiving hair so it is pretty hard to mess my hair up permantely. I booked with Gwyn and I have to say very impressed. The overall vibe of the salon is calm. Gwyn's shampooing (which is already my favorite part) was oh my word good. The head massage was fabulous. Her touch during the hair cut was so light I found myself drifting off. I don't have a strong preference on styling and the last 2 stylists I have went to have loved to play in my hair so I have always said surprise me. Next time I may ask her to play up my curl a bit. I would take off maybe half a star as the experiences were confusing. I saw the sign in the waiting area and I figured perhaps the stylist would ask about them. Then when she didnt, I thought maybe they were when you are getting a longer service like color. I confirmed with the receptionist and she said no they are available with any service. Now I probably should have asked- but being brand new to the salon, I would have thought the stylist would lead the converation. The weighted face mask during the shampoo would have been next level. Overall, I rebooked while there and I think I have found my new salon.

  I went here on my birthday to get my hair dyed back to my natural color. I was impressed with how well Meredith was able to match it perfectly. I definitely will be back again.
