  front right "doesn't know how to layer hair" and can't do a razor cut. buzz cuts only. she should work at the one in Martinsville which is more her pace.

  I would like to start this review by stating that I have NEVER had an issue at any hair salon, let alone at a Great Clips before this morning. I brought my ONE year old into this Center Grove Great Clips location. The woman who took us to her chair I do not know her name, but I am happy to describe her. She has long brown hair, green eyes, and tattoos on her arms. My child was placed in her chair and she asked what I would like done. I said “a little boys haircut, but he has a really tangled strand of hair right here, so be careful.” She aggressively stated back to be “Be careful?!” That took me a back and I looked at her shocked and slightly offended. She starts combing this knot out of my baby’s hair, which he starts fussing about because it hurts. I asks her if she had any water/conditioner solution she could put on his hair to soften it as she combs it out. She told me no, that if she put anything on the knot it would make it worse. She continues to comb my baby’s hair as he’s fussing and I said “Well it hurts him.” She stopped and aggressively said to me “ Would you like to comb it?!” That was it for me. I asked her if she was serious and demanded she take the cape off of my one year old. I grabbed him out of her chair. His pacifier was on the floor underneath HER work station. I asked her if she could please get his paci for me. She said “no you can grab it.” So with my baby on my hip I bent down to the ground underneath her desk thing to get his paci. As I was leaving I looked at the older hair stylist who was there and said “you guys are real professional.” To which this hair stylist that I’m having this nightmare of an experience with replied “Yep, sure are.” I walked out telling them they are unbelievable and they are. The lack of professionalism, the lack of respect for me as my child’s mother, the aggression that this woman had from the moment I placed my one year old in her chair. We will NEVER EVER EVER return to this location and I will be sharing my experience with family and friends. I called my husband immediately once my child and I were in the car angry, shaking, and in tears.
