  I had such a wonderful experience! I by chance had Alexis both times take me back to the locker area, she is just amazing and very helpful in showing you all the anemities to enjoy. Rosie did my relaxation and massage service which was phenomenal! I absolutely am coming back again and again. I love every part of the experience steam, sauna, shower, quite room, and above all the people and service! Thank you!

  Erin and Layla are amazing!!!! My wife and I got a couples massage twice now and the atmosphere is very relaxing and professional!! Maddison checked us in and took care of us she was so kind and pleasant 10/10 service. Probably one of the most affordable as well $250 for a 50 minute couples massage and a sauna + steam room!!! We will definitely be coming back!!

  First visit for my Husband and I. We were expecting excellent customer service and a truly relaxing day at a spa. I have heard good things about Woodhouse and the facility from coworkers and friends. When we arrived, we were instantly greeted by a front desk staff member and they had an array of body products for sale near the fireplace. It looked organized and well kept. I went to go sit near the fireplace during our check in, and the two chairs had major staining on the fabric. It was probably the biggest turn off from the beginning. I was given a tour of the facility and she seemed rushed. She spoke very fast and I was a little confused but I just went along with her tour. She made me aware that the sauna was not in working order, which was totally fine. Considering I don’t use them anyways. She told me to get dressed in the robe and sandals that were provided after my tour was finished. I was made aware by one of the visitors as she was getting dressed to leave and she told me that there were a couple men walking through fixing the sauna as she was unclothed and changing after her shower. She asked me if anyone told me there would be guys coming in and out during my visit, and I told her nobody made me aware of men being present in the changing area. I changed in the shower area and proceeded to meet with my spouse in the quiet room. We were offered Harney & Sons tea, hot or iced options with sweetener or alcoholic beverages. I went with an iced tea option with honey - which was pretty mediocre, but it’s also just tea and I was happy to be given a beverage of choice. We went in for our couples massage and the room was presentable and had dim lighting. The room was set as expected and relaxed vibes. The massage was okay, but I feel we could have both benefited from a deeper massage. It felt like the 50 mins went really fast. We were given cards of the masseuses name and phone number in case we wanted to continue going to the spa on a regular basis. The only thing I would change would be for the girls to be more personable and not so overly “professional”. But that’s just my personal opinion. I’m all about feeling welcome and being introduced to people and new environments but it felt a little routinely robotic. They body oils that are sold along the fireplace are pretty great, and I highly recommend it if you have dry skin. I paid $35 for the oil- it smells great and works very well.

  I received, hands down, the BEST facial I have ever had today by Mahkinsey! I went in with a bit of a headache, which she didn't know, and when she was finished, I was SO relaxed I could barely stand and my headache was gone!! She didn't talk during the facial, which I appreciate, so I could just lay there and fully relax and enjoy. Her pressure when she massaged my face and shoulders was firm and perfect. She was helpful, because originally, I signed up for a certain facial plus an add-on that would not have worked well together and she helped me switch to a different type of facial that was better suited for my facial needs. She was kind! I have nothing negative to say about Mahkinsey or my experience today: She was absolutely amazing!!!

  I requested a deep tissue massage and was excited about working some knots out of my back… that didn’t happen. I got a Swedish massage that focused more on my legs and arms, there wasn’t a lot of time spent on my back. There wasn’t ever a time when I felt any pressure or focus on a single knot. It was all long strokes. I did add a 30 minute scalp massage though and it was nice. Years ago, I came to Woodhouse regularly but stopped when my favorite masseuse left. I’ve tried deep tissue massages every once in a while since then and never get a decent one. The atmosphere, ambience, and customer service are amazing here though. My extra charge for deep tissue was removed. I just like to feel like my body has been worked after a massage and maybe a little sore after a deep tissue. I’m sorry to say that I wish I hadn’t wasted the $260.
