The stylist assigned to him (mid-to-late 40s, I think) was not friendly at all with a surly attitude. Furthermore, my son complained that she pulled and tugged hard and seemed like an "angry lady". Also when I paid, I asked for change back on a $20 (I had a $12 coupon), she muttered some nasty comment to her colleague when she was giving me change, assuming that I would not tip her, at which time I told her to keep $5 for a tip. She did thank me, but again appeared very bitter and jaded. If you're going to be in customer service, please have a better attitude. It doesn't have to be perfect, but at least make an effort. My son wants to change locations (maybe even go to a completely different hair salon company) as a direct result of this, and I support him in that. It doesn't matter if the end result of a haircut is decent (which this one was); half the experience is having a stylist who is at least halfway nice. With all due respect, she either needs to take a few days' off or find another line of work.
