Here’s the situation: I used to have long hair but about a year ago I suffered from autoimmune hair loss. My dermatologist reversed that through treatment and Madelyn has been cutting and styling the regrowth so beautifully and comfortably I cannot thank her enough. I started minoxidil tablets last spring and today we were able to blend some of the front regrowth into face framing pieces. Every cut gives me more confidence and I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. Maddie- thank you for doing this journey with me, you are the best!

Avoid Molly. I look in the mirror every day for the last month and want to cry about my hair.
I had an appointment with Molly. I spent close to $400 in total for a haircut, balayage, service charges, etc. This also included a touchup that I did not want. I refused it twice, but Molly insisted that I would look weird otherwise. I eventually gave in. Not only did she completely change my root hair color with a permanent dye she also botched the cut and balayage. She cut my hair from the bottom of my back to just below the shoulders with incredibly short layers on extremely thick hair and unevenly without any blending. My wash and go style now leaves me looking like a lion.
Lesley, the manager, did give me a redo with Mikala. She fixed the blending for both the cut and the balayage. She also clarified my hair to try to get the dark touchup out. They did refund me for the touchup that I did not want. However, she can’t put my hair back so I am left with a high maintenance cut or looking ridiculous.
I paid extra to go to a reputable salon, not to have new talent, and not have someone screw my hair. It happened anyways. Mikala seems like a solid bet but it bothers me that there are experienced folks at Frank Gironda that screw up so badly. Reading through the comments it looks like I’m not the only one.

Met Madeline by chance and she is wonderful. Really listens to what I want and is so friendly and nice. She does great color

I love this salon and my stylist is the best! Great atmosphere!
I recently had a bad experience at this salon where the stylist colored my hair no where near what I asked for. I spoke with the manager and she immediately helped me rectify the situation.
She scheduled me with Bella to fix the chunky/uneven colored highlights and I’m so happy now. Bella has found a new client! She did a phenomenal job! Her blending and toning of my hair was spot on and perfect. It’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t recommend Bella enough. Thank you for making me feel so good and taking the time to help me. I really appreciate it!
