  A few months ago I called up and asked if they still accepted walk ins and if they still accepted JC penny cards. Was told they do. I use to be a frequent client before my original stylist left. I drove over thirty minutes and was told they couldn’t take me because they were busy. It was dead in there. I was told they were full for over a week and they didn’t have anyone to take me to book an appointment instead. I mentioned about how I use to be a client before and about how I drove a long way because I was told on the phone that day they accepted walk ins. I even mentioned the former stylist I had by name. Then they said, “well that person is no longer here” I said “I’m aware of that but either way I was told the salon took walk ins”. I said over and over again about being told that walk ins were welcomed. It felt more like they were not interested in working on my hair because I was a guy. I wasn’t greeted with smiles, I wasn’t made to feel welcomed, I was made to feel like I was being told any excuse to deny me service to send me away and burning gas for nothing. Was even told they were “short staff because of Covid”. There were three stylist and the front desk person. They all came out and were all saying how no one can do it and come back after making an appointment. Eventually one cut my hair and was done in less than twenty minutes. The cut and style was nice but I won’t return because I wasn’t made to feel like a valued customer. There was only one other customer there getting their hair done. I still tipped because the work done on my hair was deserved. I only went there because they said they took walk ins, they accepted the JC penny card but primarily I enjoyed their salon because I knew they did great work but to be treated that way undid everything I felt about the place. I won’t be a returning customer since I wasn’t made to feel like I was even welcomed the moment I walked in. As though I was a virus. They can have it that way if it that makes them feel more comfortable making a returning customer feel uncomfortable for returning.

  Love this salon❤ Barb, Marlena and the othet lady Marina...down to earth salon & they do a great job...i don't like going to the salons where u feel like u have to be a super model to go there
