- LCLexi ClarkeSep 27, 20253.0Amelia (not sure exact spelling) did a fine job on my haircut - but I was not a fan of her attitude. She complained about a family that comes in for kids cuts that does not tip well, and "expects barber quality for $10 kids cut." I don't know much about the hair industry, but she went as far as hiding a product at her work station because she thought they'd come in soon. She also complained that they come in with a coupon every time, but it seems like they attach valid coupons without expiration dates to their hair cut receipts. There was one on mine and she heavily promoted it at checkout, even taped over the coupon text so it wouldn't fade. Kind of odd that she would complain about the family using coupons that the salon provides and promotes? I would imagine it is hard to work at a salon where you have to do so many hair cuts a day, but you never know what that family is going through or their financial situation! Please be more mindful about how you talk about other paying customers.

Great Clip should consider themselves to be extremely lucky to have that talent. Those three ladies could easily open their own shop and many customers would follow.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
