I booked with Amber at 3:45 showed up at 3:30 did not get in till 4, she first says I need a Malibu before highlights and I agree then she comes back and says she can only do the Malibu today so then I say OK let’s skip the Malibu and just do highlights then she tells me she won’t even have time to do highlights today because of the box dye that I used over six months ago will react and she’ll have to do a strand test first, and she won’t have time to do highlights, and then they’ll charge you a cancellation fee when they’re the ones who turned you away, take your money somewhere else

I just was rushed at the end because she had a 10 year client waiting so skipped my head massage which I was actually looking forward to, I was kind of disappointed in that. Overall, the experience was relaxing, and I like their quiet area where you can enjoy a cup of hot tea or a glass of cold water.

It was very painful while she was blow-drying my hair; she tied it very tightly, and I had to ask her to lower the temperature because of the pain. I have more bald spots than this photo shows, as moving the hair and tieing it back will further damage the hair and prevent/delay regrowth. The entire left side of my hair/head, where the pain was during the blow-dry, is much thinner than the right side (no pain or damage on the right side). The damage I received from Tegan is hopefully only temporary. Still, besides the physical damage, I am now mentally damaged, so going to a salon will hurt me. This type of damage is something you expect from an unlicensed hairstylist, not Mario Trichchi, a well-known studio that claims to have the best stylists. Disturbing.
