  Quick shout out to Janessa at the Naperville MAC boutique! I needed help doing a color match for a long-outdated pressed powder and Janessa was so helpful. I'm not young but I care about putting my best face forward (literally LOL) and looking my best with a natural makeup approach. Janessa was so welcoming the moment I came into the store and really listened to what I wanted and needed. It only took her a moment to figure out which product would be best, and even suggested a new-to-me finishing spray that is awesome. I never felt patronized because of my age or minimal makeup routine. I can get MAC products closer to home, but I make my way to this location because of the top tier customer experience, and for the knowledgeable talent from stylists like Janessa. Thanks for the great experience, Janessa!

  I’d like to recognize Alma, a stylist at MAC Cosmetics in Naperville, IL. She was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout my visit. Alma took the time to carefully sample multiple foundation and concealer shades to find my perfect match, doing so with genuine care and patience. She listened closely to my needs, explained products clearly, and made the entire experience feel thoughtful and personalized—never rushed or sales-driven. I left with exactly what I needed (as well as some samples!) and a lot of confidence. Alma is a true asset to the team, and her professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression.

  I stopped in to pick up a new tube of my go-to lipstick and browse for a deep burgundy for the rest of winter. The lady working the floor tried to help me but the first lipstick she handed me was straight up purple. I repeated I was looking for burgundy & I was hoping to be left alone to look at the display at that point. She then tried to offer me three more lipsticks, which were all differing shades of dusty rose. I told her none of these were even remotely the right color and that I would just check out with the lipstick I came in for. When I was checking out, she went into the back and came out with her phone, texting instead of just waiting the extra 30 seconds until the transaction was over. MAC literally has a burgundy lip pencil, so I have no idea what this sales associate was doing. This is why I just buy from Ulta.

  This was my first experience with a MAC Makeup Artist and she was AMAZING! When I say that Shanda did an absolutely phenomenal job, I MEAN THAT SHE DID AN ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL JOB! I was celebrating my 65th Birthday and I didn't want a made up face look but a super natural look that more so accentuating my eyes. Shanda did exactly what I wanted... I was a little nervous and she kept telling me to trust the process... I did and take a look at her exceptional work!
