  My first experience at The NOW with Jade was wonderful. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. As a 54 year old male with the typical muscle and joint discomfort for years of wear and tear, Jade helped relieve the tension in my shoulders and calf area. I would highly recommend Jade if you plan visit to the Naperville location!

  I had an 80min with Joe, and added on hemp lotion to a deep tissue stretch massage. It was ahhhhmazing. Joe was professional, kind, skillful and courteous. I was worried I’d be distracted by the goings on around us since the tables are separated by canvas curtains but I actually had no reason to be concerned. It was private, quiet and serene with ocean sounds playing on the background.

  Sonya does a wonderful job. I am a very active person and as I age I don’t quite recover like I could and I have some prolonged soreness. Sonya is great because she has phenomenal intuition. Some massage therapists have a “impose their will” process with pressure, but Sonya knows exactly how to deal with trouble areas. If you have a lingering ache and are afraid of someone working on it I would give Sonya a chance. My calves tense and sensitive to work on and she does the best job I’ve ever experienced. She knows on the fly how to balance between the feel-good state and applying enough pressure to work the knots. Also, I have to say the giant sliding wood door is epic and the whole back room, if you haven’t seen it, feels like a whole other world.

  I’ve been getting massages for years now due to some health problems I have and I just felt like I really wasn’t getting what I wanted for what I was paying; I’d go to Tricoci in Oak Brook just out of convenience because my hair girl works there and my daughter likes to get her nails done there. So while it was convenient to get a massage there and was good at first, the company eventually changed a lot of policies and fired all the staff I liked to work with. The ones they kept very clearly are all following the same massage routine and won’t tailor the session to you very much anymore. And worst of all, deep tissue to them means digging their elbow into your back with completely wrong technique. I’ve tried Massage Envy as well but it’s hard to find a therapist that does deep tissue well, and they really love to try to lock you into a predatory membership/contract. Getting a massage here was the total opposite and I’m so happy that I came. It’s only 15 minutes from my house and the women up front were so pleasant to me. I like the atmosphere because it’s minimalistic but cute and they use curtains instead of doors. I thought at first it wouldn’t be as quiet but it’s actually quieter because people aren’t ignorantly slamming doors the entire time while you’re trying to relax. I also appreciated how quiet they kept it while I was there. I prefer the crashing waves sounds over whatever weird Skinimax music they like to play at other places. The prices are basically what I was already paying elsewhere but I do get 20 minutes less here. However, the massage was so good I still think it’s worth the value. I saw Jacqueline for a deep tissue/prenatal glow session and I highly recommend her. I got deep tissue in the shoulder/neck area and I knew it’d be a little painful at first because I’m so tight and haven’t been keeping up with regular massages lately but I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. I kind of prefer the prenatal positioning to be honest because I get a comfy pillow, haha. I also appreciated how heated the table was and the nice thick cover they give you. I also liked whatever balm that they use because it wasn’t runny, greasy, or gritty; it felt like the perfect texture for the massage which I thought was a nice touch. I booked for next month immediately.
