  Went for a massage. Was told to come back in an hour. Came back in an hour. Was told to wait an additional 10 min. Waited 10 min. Told to wait an additional 20 min. Waited 20 min. They then forgot I was there. I waited an hour for absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your time by going here.

  Due to unfortunate circumstances, I can no longer endorse Moon Massage. Let me explain: I previously had not come here for several months due to poor service from Amy (excessive talking during massage and asking me if I could end my pre-paid massage appointment 10 mins early so she could take another customer that just walked in). I decided to give her another chance and returned a few weeks ago. The service was much better this time and I gave her $27 for tip on a $70 massage which was 38% tip. I know the average massage tip from talking to other massage therapists, friends and reddit forum is usually 15%-20%. When I returned again yesterday, Amy was acting strange. First she asked if I wanted another therapist after I had made an appointment with her. Then during the massage she told me that I needed to tip more. I was shocked as I knew I had tipped her almost double the normal amount prior. She boasted how she had customers that tipped her $30-$40 per hour and made sure to emphasize to me that I "wasn't even her best customer". While I never thought or said I was her "best customer", this is a very rude thing to tell someone out of the blue. Amy pressured me to give a $35 tip at end of massage and added an extra $5 for running my card again instead of just adding the tip on the bottom line of original card charge like other places do. What's really sad is in China where Amy is from, tipping isn't generally done. In America, tipping is done by many as a form of generosity and sharing our hard earned money. There is nothing worse than someone that lacks gratitude for ANY size tip, big or small. Having a massage therapist that feels ENTITLED is a huge turn off. Both of the last 2 times she never even said thanks for the tip as well. Amy's massage quality isn't bad. I'd say probably a 6/10 compared to other local places, but I hope she learns a lesson in humility and gratitude because shes now lost a customer by taking advantage of him and showing her true colors. Attached is some information on tipping to prevent other customers from being taken advantage of or exploited as I was.
