Instead of saying she is not skilled with working with ethnic hair, she took me provided me with a terrible service and took my money. I felt robbed because I essentially paid for her to play in my hair. When I mentioned to her that I was not satisfied with my service she just stared at me. She is not skilled in any area… hair or customer service. I will be contacting corporate and letting anyone who will listen to not go to great clips in Joliet. Service is terrible. Gladys is not a skilled professional and does not know what she is doing. UPDATE: the management is lousy as well. Manager Adrianna basically racially profiled me among calling me and assumed all sorts is racist things about me per our phone call. Will be contacting corporate again, bbb, and all social media news outlets to let them know how racist this store is.
- DHDeen HowenOct 13, 20251.0I came in a couple of weeks ago. I had an unusual problem with my hair and asked about a stylist who offered services to help with the problem. The stylist obviously wasn't working there anymore, but the older blonde woman whom I was speaking with, couldn't have been more rude and off-putting. She couldn't have cared less about me. Not good. I will tell my friends and acquaintances that unless they like to feel unwelcome, they should avoid this establishment.
