    While my stylist was kind, she was very clearly in a rush. She didn’t check that things were even and didn’t do any kind of head massage during the wash which is literally the best part of coming to a salon. Especially for the price, I was very disappointed.

    My facial was amazing and Rachel was the best! Unfortunately, when I went to check out, I had a 20% off email for my birthday and even though the email said nothing at all about any exclusions or services that would not be included. I was told I could not use the coupon on the facial that I got. The coupon was getting ready to expire, so I was not able to use it at all on anything, very disappointing.

    I booked a spa pedicure at Salon Blood hoping for a calm, premium experience after a very difficult week. My technician, Jessica, was kind and professional. Unfortunately, the experience was upsetting. Another technician in the room was loud, crass, and inappropriate for a spa environment. When the conversation became distressing, I politely asked for the subject to be changed and was met with an uncivil comment from another client. The owner did apologize, but then made excuses, noting that the other client was a “long-time customer,” which felt dismissive. As a teacher, $69 is not a small expense, and I expected professionalism and a relaxing atmosphere. Instead, I left in tears. I will not be returning and cannot recommend Salon Blood to anyone seeking a true spa experience.

    I actually had a very nice experience with my haircut, but then I decided to also purchase a Christmas candle they had. I was told to call in the next day because there was a sale starting the next day so that’s what I did….I ordered over the phone. I paid for over the phone as well and I never heard from them again. Yesterday I called them to find out what happened with my candle as they totally forgot to contact me. I was informed they no longer had any of the candles, and they evidently didn’t set one aside for me even though I paid for it already. This is very disappointing. They should’ve held a candle for me and set it aside. The person I spoke to gave me a deal on two of the smaller candles and they’re fine but that’s not really what I wanted as a gift for my sister and so again I’m disappointed. I might go back for a haircut in the future, but I don’t think I’ll ever buy an item from their gift shop area again. Unfortunately, it speaks to their follow-through regarding customer satisfaction and service.

    I surprised my sister with a birthday haircut at Salon Bliss, and unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. When I booked the appointment, the receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly. She walked me through everything and even made sure the gift card was saved behind the desk — I really appreciated that part. But once my sister arrived for her appointment, things went downhill. She ended up waiting almost an hour past her scheduled time to be seen. This was her first time at the salon, and she was really hoping for some guidance or suggestions from the stylist. Instead, the stylist offered no input at all, which made her feel uncomfortable and unsure about moving forward with a real haircut or style. She ended up just getting a basic trim — something she could’ve gotten anywhere. I don’t know if they were just super busy that day, because I’ve been to Salon Bliss before and have always been satisfied with my services. That’s why I chose it for her birthday — I really expected a better experience. I feel awful that she left disappointed, and I hope the salon takes this feedback to improve things for future clients.
