    We made a purchase at the end of August and tried to return it on the 30th day, within the 30 day return window. We arrived at the store as they were closing the store at 7pm. They locked the door in front of us and wouldn't let us in. From there, the same evening, we decided to go to a Sephora location at Kohls, since they were open till 10pm. Lady there told us that their Sephora is not the same and they used different system, so she won't be able to do anything. The very next day we went back to the original location in Geneva, when we attempted to make a refund they refused to accept the return or even allow an exchange because it was over the 30 day period. If they were to let us in the day before or their Kohls location was part of the same chain we wouldn't have this issue. At the Geneva store they told us to call customer service number and if they authorize return, they will accept it. After an hour on hold, a Customer Service rep told us that indeed their return policy is 30 days and they are unable to authorize anything, so we cannot return or exchange it after 30 days. It was a waste of time and money. This new policy is ridiculous and they are running two different chains under one name and logo, without disclosing it to customers. That's some shady business practice. We won't be shopping at Sephora anymore.

    Everytime I come to this sephora all the workers are very nice!! Most of the time I come in looking like a bum, no makeup (bc I want to get matched with new foundations) and I don't feel judged at all 🩷 I've heard that sephora workers can be judgy and mean and that is not what I have experienced at this place 🫶🏽

    I absolutely hate the 30 day return policy past Sephora. I had unopened items and came back from traveling and could NOT return. For that reason not only will I NEVER shop at Sephora I will won't shop at Kohl's. I think it's unreasonable when you have NEVER OPENED, SEALED PRODUCT
