My husband went in for a quick haircut before we left town and asked for a basic military style cut. The stylist stated that she did not have the proper tools to do that type of haircut, yet she continued anyway. If a stylist does not have the tools or confidence to perform a service correctly, they should refuse the service entirely. There is absolutely no excuse for allowing a paying customer to leave the salon looking unfinished and butchered. The haircut was completely unacceptable. The lines were crooked, the cut was patchy, and the hair behind his ears was not shaved at all. It looked careless and sloppy, like a child had done it. No professional should ever let someone walk out of a salon looking like that. What made this situation even worse was how it was handled afterward. When I called to complain, instead of receiving an apology or a simple refund, the salon gave the stylist my personal phone number and had her call me directly to argue and defend herself. That is wildly unprofessional and inappropriate. I did not call to argue. I called because the service was awful and needed to be addressed. The stylist repeatedly tried to blame my husband for “approving” the haircut beforehand. Agreeing to proceed does not mean agreeing to a horrible result. No customer consents to a botched haircut. I then received a long voicemail from her explaining why she should not lose her job and minimizing the situation instead of taking responsibility. Not once did anyone apologize. Mistakes happen, but this was not handled like a professional business in any way. Allowing someone to leave with an uneven, poorly done haircut and then responding with defensiveness and blame instead of accountability is unacceptable. The complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic respect is shocking. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. EVER!!!!!&
