- CWCarissa WesterfieldSep 18, 20255.0I went in and took my 13 year old daughter who has natural curly hair into Great Clips on Ash Ave in Decatur IL. She had stopped brushing it and had just left it in a bun for months. Then days ago came to me with just a matted mess it was horrible. I tried for a weekend and hundred of dollars of hair products to do it on my own at home with no success. Embarrassed and honestly both of us ready to just shave her head 😳 we walked in and Dawna approached and took on the challenge! She said she could not make any promises but man did she work a miracle my daughters hair was like a helmet I am sad and embarrassed to even say that but it was and she worked for 2 days and made my daughters beautiful curls come back. Her hair was long as well all the way down to her rear end so tons of hair came off. It took two days and help from two other stylists as well Malinda and Amy helped on the 1st day and they all got a lot done it was a group effort. I could not ask for such a great of women they also passed no judgment and only compassion for a mother who was just at her whit's end and heart broken 💔 over the whole situation. Day two I arrived when the store opened we started right away Dawna got to it and Malinda was also there to help as well between her clients. Dawna went above and beyond and now has a new client! My daughter is ecstatic with her new look and can't wait to show he friends. I have also gone back and had Dawna cut my hair and love it. As well as my sister she went in and had her hair cut by Dawna as well so she has gained three new clients. Hopefully a lot more from my review because she is an amazing stylist with a big heart and great at what she does.

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
