  Went in for a blow dry with styling. Asked for specific things, stylist didnt deliver. Asked to get my roots straightened and my ends curled, did not get any of these.Overpriced for the quality. Do not recommend

  I have had a few good experiences at Tricoci but this time unfortunately my young colorist did a terrible job with my highlights. The bleach was very choppy, some parts were orange some parts were blonde. I did share a reference photo of the lighter brown shade and subtle highlights which is what I actually wanted done. My hair was still wet after the cut so I didn't see how chunky, stripey and brassy the highlights were until I left. I think the haircut I got is the most uneven haircut I've ever recieved. I told my stylist Monique that I wanted layers and 2 inches off and instead she chopped it so much that I can barely even put it in a ponytail and it looks butchered. I'm overall just really sad about the whole thing and I wish I could have my old hair back. I waited a couple of weeks to leave this review in case it improved after growing out a little but it's only gotten worse and I am going to have to pay someone else to have it fixed this weekend. Overall I'm sure my experience was just stylist dependent but I am very upset that my long, beautiful hair is ruined.

  The hospitality has gone down. Now more self service until your person comes to get you. Not like the 5 star diamonds that one would associate with 900N Michigan. My Esthetician, Ariel and Colleen, Massage therapist were awesome! I may return only to have them complete my services. Manager, Eric was very apologetic and over explained, he comped us a little but I want to share that the damage was already done. I will not immediately choose this spa experience there are a lot of other options much better.

  I am simply blown away by the staff at Tricoci. All the services I received were first rate. Coming from the Manhattan spa scene, that was expected. What was not expected was the warmth, kindness, and generosity of time I received by every single member of the staff I encountered. Standouts were Nelida, Giselle, and Dolli. And really, too many to name individually. Nelida, especially, tells you the reason behind the treatment she is recommending, and happy to answer any questions you may have. She has over 35 years in the industry coloring hair ands has a PhD as a colorist. I’ve never experience this level of knowledge in any spa I’ve been to previously. Their list of services is extensive, and for those looking for this level of knowledge and Service, I can’t imagine there being a finer spa in Chicago.

  terribly messy. i had my appointment booked under my brothers name and no one came out to call out my name because a boy wasn’t seen in the waiting room. went to front desk and they said someone had been “looking for me”. just call out the name??????? that is all you have to do??? why do you think you know better than the customer? hypothetically, can a girl not have a traditionally male name? can a boy not have long hair? so much wrong with these assumptions when all they had to do was call out the name and I would have stood up. also the lady jerilina kept yanking all up on my piercings on my ear making my ear all red, then later joking about how many piercings i have. so sloppy. didn’t follow the picture i showed and overall terrible experience. didn’t even part my hair and ended up with choppy, messy ends. how does a person even cut and treat a person like this. ended up 40 minutes late out of my appointment.
