A dreamy and relaxing experience. The vibe here is unique and the space is other worldly. The sounds of the ocean had me drifting off. Thank you, Charles, who took great care of me and hit all my knots. I’ll be back!

This was my first time going to this location and I feel amazing! Adriane was very communicative and made me feel like I was the only one there. She seemingly was able to find every single knot that I didn't know I had. I genuinely feel like a new person! Can't wait to come back!

Here’s a clear, composed version that keeps your experience intact while making it land effectively for a public review:
I had an extremely unsettling experience at The NOW Massage South Loop and ended my service just 8 minutes after it began.
From the start, the therapist arrived late and appeared visibly upset or angry, which immediately felt jarring and uncomfortable. Her demeanor was harsh, unwelcoming, and completely misaligned with the calming experience I expected. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and even offered light, gentle feedback to ease the tension, but her response was dismissive and defensive.
As the session began, her tone remained aggressive and felt more like being reprimanded than cared for. When I misunderstood an instruction, she responded in a way that felt scolding and inappropriate. At that point, I was too uncomfortable to relax or continue, so I politely asked to end the session.
Only then did her tone shift, and she apologized, asking multiple times for another chance. However, I had already given several opportunities for the interaction to reset, and I chose to leave.
At the front desk, the response was equally disappointing. There was no empathy, acknowledgment, or attempt to resolve the situation. I was simply asked to confirm I was ending early, told that the therapist was considered their “top therapist,” and informed a manager would follow up. I left feeling dismissed, unsettled, and honestly shocked by the lack of care shown.
I receive massages regularly and have never had an experience like this. What was most disappointing wasn’t just the interaction with the therapist, but how little regard was shown for me as a customer when I raised a concern.

I recently tried The NOW Massage's new Face service and it was an absolute game-changer. The 25-minute facial massage was one of the most relaxing experiences I've had — I walked out feeling like a completely different person.
What really stood out was how much it helped with my jaw pain. I hadn't expected a face massage to make such a difference, but the tension I'd been carrying just melted away. The oil used during the treatment added such a calming, soothing element to the whole experience.
My provider, Isabel, was phenomenal. Her technique was gentle yet effective, and she clearly knows exactly what she's doing. I felt completely at ease from start to finish.
If you haven't tried this service yet, do yourself a favor and book it — especially if you deal with jaw tension or just need some serious relaxation. 10/10, will absolutely be back!

The entire experience was worth it & I will most definitely be coming back. Also, highly considering coming in on a monthly basis. The masseuse I had, Robyn, helped walk me through the whole process before hand so there weren’t any surprises. She expressed & made it very clear that it’s ok to let her know what my comfortability level was at throughout the process. Robyn along with the rest of the staff made the space a safe, comforting & relaxing environment.
