Recently, I booked a Saturday appointment on a Thursday afternoon, then canceled the next morning (Friday) when they opened—less than 24 hours after I booked it. I received a message saying the appointment was canceled, so I assumed all was fine. On the day of the appointment, I suddenly see a $208 charge on my account. When I called, they told me that canceling less than 48 hours before an appointment means they charge the full amount. Not a fee—the entire service cost, even though no work was done. This policy was never explained to me when I canceled. If it had been, I would’ve kept the appointment. They refused to budge, even though I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year and a half. The tone on the phone was rude and dismissive—“these are the rules”—with zero care for customer experience and the fact that I’m a repeat customer. Fortunately, my credit card company reversed the charge, but the entire situation was shocking. For a place that markets itself as luxury, this was some of the least professional treatment I’ve experienced. I won’t be returning.
