    I came in here to check out their selection, and there were specific brands I was looking for. I saw an employee who had just finished helping someone and asked her for assistance. I could tell immediately she was put off my presence for whatever reason, perhaps I'd just come from the gym or I was wearing a mask, maybe she was overstimulated because it was a Saturday and the store is very small and crowded. Whatever it was, it brought her to being very short with me and saying, "I don't have that brand in *my* store." That was so rude. I won't be coming back here.

    I bought a $70 serum from a different store location and it came empty. I went to a different sephora lincoln park and they refused to give me my money back or store credit and attitudes were rude and dismissive. Went here in hopes of a different outcome and Hayley was so helpful and kind enough to give me store credit without hassle and was so nice and all the staff were so helpful. Great customer service!

    I was in at around 5:30 and some bald man employee and another employee were loudly talking about how disgusting homeless people are and making a ton of jokes within 3 feet of four or five customers. No one was helped. And then when I went to check out they told me the gift card I just got for $100 had $0 on it. And the lady helping me said “did you buy it from a third party?” Just left with nothing. What a horrible experience.

    Mia and Maria were very helpful today. They took the time to help me choose the right foundation shade, tested them on my face, and made sure everything matched well. Maria also recommended a great lip combo, and Mia introduced me to wonderful fragrances, which I ended up really liking and purchasing. They were both kind, patient, and professional, and made the process easy. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, for being so wonderful!

    Beware to any young woman who comes in (especially with friends) that you will be followed around the store and will not be able to shop in peace. Why do I have workers peeking over shelves staring at me and blocking both ends of the aisle so they need to speak to me regardless? One worker doesn’t let me pass her without me saying anything to her so she goes “are you finally ready for help?” Maam you followed me around the store the entire time and every time I said I was just looking around. Let me add for context that my friend I was with had ordered for pickup (A PAYING CUSTOMER) and we were still treated this way. So while I’m getting treated like a criminal, a bunch of 11 year olds roam around the store destroying product and none of them are bothered by employees. Ulta has everything I need from Sephora now and for better deals AND I don’t get followed and watched every minute in in there. I work in retail and I understand checking in on customers and keeping an eye on products, but customer satisfaction ALWAYS comes first and there’s a reason companies have loss insurance 🤓🤓 be better. (Also seems like this place is targeting WOC as well so you all need to get your training in check and have a serious attitude adjustment.)
