Tyler (who I spoke to in bk) specifically recommended I visit a Chicago location and let them know I’d be coming around 4. The experience here was a complete disaster. The NP didn’t greet us and immediately barked about dogs not being allowed.. despite the fact that we had a service animal, in 19-degree weather. When I explained the situation, she claimed I was “late,” which was both inaccurate and irrelevant given I was there for a possibly infected piercing. Another piercing studio earlier that day had already flagged my ear as unhealthy.. it was visibly discolored and had an odor. The NP dismissed everything as “fine,” completely ignoring obvious signs of a problem. Instead of addressing the issue, she repeatedly leaned on “I went to school for four years” as a defense for her dismissiveness. She then said the only problem was the placement and recommended re-piercing, which even I know is something you do not do. Do not recommend.

Do you pierce babies?
We pierce babies as young as 2 months old. We require one DTaP vaccine for children ages 5 and under.
How much do piercings cost?
Piercings start at $35 each + the cost of piercing jewelry.
What piercing placements do you offer?
Rowan offers lobe, upper lobe, mid helix, helix, forward helix, flat, conch and tragus, however, piercing placement availability may vary by studio location. We do not pierce the daith, industrial, nose or other body parts beyond the ears.
Do you accept cash?
We are a cashless studio.
