  My sister and I finally decided to get a second piercing after years of talking about it. Since my ears were pierced as an infant many years ago, I honestly didn't know what to expect. From the moment we entered Rowan and were greeted by Lisa (I believe that was her name), I felt at ease. She walked us through the process, offered suggestions regarding the types of services available, and showed us the various earrings to choose from. Cassidy performed the actual piercings, and she did an incredible job. She took her time explaining what would happen, where the holes would be positioned, and how to care for the piercings afterward. It was a seamless and stress-free experience! I would definitely recommend them.

  I had such a great experience getting my ears pierced at Rowan. Gabbi was so kind and helpful and did a great job! She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and ensure that my piercings turned out exactly how I wanted them. Rowan is a clean and safe place for piercings that I would recommend to anyone.

  100% recommend! We took our almost 4 month old daughter to get her ears piece and Cassidy was great! She explained and made the process so easy. Cassidy was very gentle and nurturing with our baby and gave us some time to console her after the process. Thank for everything:)

  I walked in without an appointment last week because I wanted flat back earrings for my lobe piercing. I’m legally blind and found it impossible to do on my own. I also wanted to get my second lobe pierced, but I was hesitant because I forget if piercings hurt and while I deal with chronic pain I am a TOTAL BABY about regular people pain. I chose Rowan because they only hire registered nurses to do piercings which made me feel comfortable because the last time I got my ears pierced, it was at Claire’s by some 18-year-old manager-in-training wielding a piercing gun and rolling her eyes. They also have solid gold or titanium flat back earrings which I knew I could leave in without needing to change, a bonus for this blind girl! The guy at the counter (I think his name was Pete?) could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was super impressed. (But wait! It gets better!) Enter Caroline, piercer extraordinaire. She asks which jewelry I want and I tell her. She says with my low vision, she’d recommend another style. I appreciated her honesty and went with her selection. She inserts the jewelry with no issues or discomfort. She’s warm and friendly and just a whole vibe. I feel like we’ve been friends for longer than five whole minutes. I feel brave and ask if she can do my second lobe piercing. She says she has time — let’s do it! She changes her gloves again “I’m all about cleanliness!” and meticulously marks my ears, tries to show me (I can’t see it, but I trust her!) and asks if I want to know what she’s going to do before she does it. I pause and say “just do it.” She sensed my hesitation and said she was going to walk me through it. (Spoiler alert: It didn’t hurt at all!) Afterwards, I got detailed aftercare instructions verbally which I appreciate because the sheet they handed me is for my sighted partner. I already want more piercings and as long as Caroline is there, I know I’m in good hands. If you need an ear piercing, go see Caroline.
