My husband booked an appointment for me as a thoughtful gesture after a performance, but the session left me in considerable pain. The therapist was excessively rough, including rubbing my spine, which I don’t think is safe. It feels like I was injured. Most licensed massage therapists avoid direct pressure on the spine, and if they do touch it, it’s with minimal depth or pressure. I don’t want to hear that deep tissue massage is supposed to hurt—this was beyond that. I am still dealing with the aftermath, relying on painkillers for relief. If my condition doesn’t improve, I may need to seek medical and possibly legal assistance. Additionally, the therapist insisted on a tip after the service, which felt inappropriate given the circumstances. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, and the staff member present was quite rude. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
