Kinda upset. Was quoted $230 for full highlight when booking online. Was charged $365 when I walked out door. No price changes were discussed or mentioned throughout my appointment. After a quick consult, we decided to just do a partial highlight and I guess a balayage to achieve the color highlight I wanted? — I wish I paid more attention to the hair plan since seeing the price increase. Perhaps it is my fault for not asking if the price would change when making a plan for the day. Finally, I still had purple toner around my hairline and forehead when walking out the door. I mentioned this to my stylist, and I guess it will wash out with time. She did offer to take it out, but I really didn’t have the time to wait around. I also received a blow dry with no styling— not sure what that cost in the end. Just kinda frazzled by the markup upon leaving. Everyone was nice, and I was satisfied with my coloring overall. Kinda annoyed by the purple hair edges. Will be asking for an itemized receipt next time and more price clarity.
Update: I did get the receipt. I did receive a glaze ($50) and the blow-dry ($55). Everyone was very professional and helpful. I do wish these prices were discussed during the appointment. I would have forgone the glaze had I known the cost. Overall, I am still satisfied with services and will increase my rating.
My general feedback is to improve price clarity for customers.
