  In my opinion, best place in the city of Chicago to get a haircut hands down! Sherice is my usual stylist, who is amazing, but I have recently been in twice and had the pleasure of Eric doing my hair. Both are fabulous and I have never walked out of there with a haircut that I did not love! For those who are able to go on a lunch hour it is the perfect amount of time. Basic cuts are my only experience but in my many years of having short hair, it is difficult to find people who can do women's short hair well. I stand by every service I've ever had at this location, and there is nowhere else in the city that you can get your haircut as a female for $26 at such great quality!

  Don’t recommend for young kids. Staff were frustrated that our kids couldn’t sit still during the haircut and both cuts our kids got were very botched. We’ll need to go elsewhere to have them fixed. May be better experience for adults.

  They really messed up my hair on two different occasions. The staff is very friendly. However, this location doesn’t know how to cut hair. 1st visit: my hair was extremely uneven and I had to go to another location to get it fixed. Today’s visit: my hair was way over cut and tapered it looks like I got a cone on my head. I almost asked to have my head buzz cut…… I didn’t say anything I just paid and left as there isn’t any magical way to regrow my hair. I called the store to express after I showered the front is uneven, and she said I shaved my head at home. In the 15 minutes I left… ****I called the wicker park location and they’re going to try and salvage my hair. I was able to have Another location even things out. It was worse than what the picture shows through my whole head. Update: spoke with the manager and she was very polite and gave me a refund. Manager did a great job helping mediate an issue that was not their fault. I over do not recommend the salon for their hair stylists are consistently bad and after this experience they clearly lack accountability. It’s not on the manager to refund money for the stylists mistake.

  I was quite disappointed with my visit. The hairdresser seemed disinterested and rushed through my haircut. Additionally, the payment system automatically added a $10 tip (approximately 40%) without providing an option for confirmation. When I raised the issue, I was informed that nothing could be done as the manager was not available. I generally have no issue tipping for quality service, but in this case, the experience did not warrant such an amount, and the lack of transparency in the payment process was concerning. It overall felt unfair and unprofessional. I hope the management reviews both service standards and payment procedures to prevent similar issues in the future.
